How I Manage To Run A Household of Six People, A Maid, Two Cars, And My Husband’s Motorcycle Without Loosing My Mind!
Dear Friend,
Let’s be honest, it’s not easy being a mother, a wife, a home-manager and still find time for yourself. Sometimes the days just pass by like a dream. You wake up Sunday morning and all of a sudden it’s Thursday evening and you don’t know where the week went. Men think they have stressful lives with their ‘work’, but they don’t realise the real work that we do. They wouldn’t last a week in our shoes.
Don’t get me wrong. I love being a mother and I consider myself to be very fortunate to be married to a wonderful, caring and loving husband. But that doesn’t mean I don’t need time for myself where I can release all the pressure that builds up over the days.
Well, I’m glad to inform you that I found a great way to release the tension and frustration! Yes, you guessed it, it’s Zen-Do Kickboxing.
The Honest To God Truth About What Zen-Do
Has Done For Me |
I cannot tell you how much of a difference Zen-Do has made in my life. Not only is it a great form of stress relief, but it’s also a great workout that tones my whole body. People often ask me how I manage to keep my figure after having four kids. I can honestly say that Zen-Do had a lot to do with it! You burn a lot of calories doing this. And it’s only two hours a week.
I love how I can really hit the punching bags so hard! It’s a great feeling. At the end of the class I leave exhausted but feeling great. Another thing I love about Zen-Do is the family-like atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly here and I’ve formed some great friendships. You never feel out of place or intimidated. Suhail is a great instructor and really knows how to motivate people.
I’m proud to say that I was one of Sensei Suhail’s very first students! I started training in 2002. In fact, I stopped training for a year because I got pregnant. I had a beautiful baby girl, Maarya, and then went straight back into training! This is how addicted I am. My sons Joud (8 years) and Bilal (10 years) have been training since 2005.
I know there must be a million reasons you might think Zen-Do is not right for you. Let me try to address some of them.
" Zen-Do Is For Men Only "
Not true! In fact, according to Suhail, 37% of the students at Zen-Do are female!
" It’s For Young People Only "
I believe you’re only as old (or as young) as you feel. I’m 36 years old and there are people a lot older than me here. The oldest Zen-Do student is in her fifties!
" You Have To Be Fit and Co-ordinated To Do Zen-Do "
Absolutely not. At Zen-Do they specialise in beginners. You don’t have to be fit to do this. If you are out of shape and have not exercised in a long time, you can take a break whenever you need to during the class. As Suhail says “If you can walk, you can do martial arts!” You’ll find that within a few weeks you’ll be able to do things you never thought possible. I now can do jump kicks, spinning kicks and go for several rounds on the punching bags. Things I never dreamt of in the past!
" It’s Not For Me "
Really? How do you know? You owe it to yourself to at least try the two free classes. You have nothing to lose. Remember, Suhail offers you a personal and unconditional 30-day money back Guarantee. So he’s really taking all the risk. Go for it!
" I Don’t Want To Get Hurt "
Zen-Do is a non-contact, non-violent club. You don’t have to fight anyone at all. It goes against the Zen-Do philosophy. Controlled contact fighting is only done at a very advanced level and is optional. So you have nothing to worry about.
" I Don’t Want To Embarrass Myself "
I completely understand. It’s natural to feel self-conscious when you try something new like kickboxing. Let me say that first of all, you will be taught by a team of highly trained professionals. They all remember what it’s like to be a beginner and will be understanding to your situation. Also, the others around you will be beginners as well, so you will all be in the same situation. Suhail is a very family orientated person and treats all his Zen-Do students like extended family. He would not let you go through something embarrassing or uncomfortable.
" I Don’t Have The Time "
If you really think about it, no one has the time these days to do anything. You have to make time. If you are just a bit organised and disciplined, you’ll find that you can make time for this. Aren’t your health, fitness and well-being worth it? Besides, the morning class is meant for us busy mothers who don’t have time to train in the evenings. What better time to train than when the kids are in school?
Well, I’ve done my bit and the rest is up to you.

PPPS I realise a lot of mothers work and cannot come during the morning. If you are interested then you can ask about evening classes, I think there are still a few places left.
