“They Laughed When I Said I Could Improve a Person’s Health, Fitness and Self-esteem in Just 30 Days - But When They Saw The Results!”

Discover How You Too Can Get Into Great Shape, Learn Self-Defence, And Massively Boost Your Self-Confidence And Self-Esteem.

Dear Friend,

Have you ever had the feeling of being completely exhausted, frustrated and low in self-esteem?  Do you have a stressful job and/or life?  Did you ever wish you could feel healthier, stronger and much more energetic?

Well, what if I told you I can guarantee that within 30 days or less I can improve your health, fitness, flexibility, stamina, coordination, self-esteem, and much, much more!  That’s not all...What if I also said I could make you feel a lot calmer and more relaxed than you’ve ever felt before.  In addition I could make you more focused, increase your concentration, and significantly increase your peace of mind?

Would you believe me?  Don’t take my word for it, this is what some of my students have to say about us:

Too be quite honest, I am not exagerating when I say, Kick Boxing changed my life.... Ok, maybe it didn't exactly CHANGE it, but it had a huge impact on my physical and mental well being. Physically, I have had the best results on my body's appearance and fitness with kick boxing than any other sport or excercise I've tried. I consider myself to be a pretty athletic and active person, I used to take areobic and step classes, do excercise videos at home, and swim laps (when the weather permits). But I must say that it was kick boxing that actually had an effect on my body, shaping up the abs, legs, and arms. It increased my endurance, and moved muscles in my body that the other excercises did not. Punching, kicking and actually exerting force is much more effective than silly reps and movement. "Sensai Suhail's Kick Boxing Work Out" is split into different "phases", which include different moves which you have to learn, as well as a cardiovascular workout. The the cardio part is very beneficial in getting your heart pumping. I like that we get pushed to giving it everything we have. To get pushed over what you think is your limit makes you feel your instructer believes in you, and is confident of your abilities. Then of course their is the mental empowerment aspect of the class. Come on, you can tell people your involved in a martial art. That's cool man! It's different than silly old excersising. You feel like you belong to something. You go to class with others. You have a belt. You have a passport for God's sake! That must mean something! Your effort is being acknowledged and appreciated. You gain confidence and independence, and you feel like you can protect yourself, or that you stand a chance- if you are ever in a situation which would call for it. However, I must stress that Kick Boxing doesn't put silly ideas in your head that you can now take over the world. Au contraire, it gives you a very realistic and practical idea of what your strengths and abilities are, and your actual size in the world of power and strength. It humbles you. This I learned in sparring. You get to judge and test your own power. You can now tell how much you have, and that there will always be others who are stronger than you. Its not as easy as it looks. You also learn that its not all about strength and moves. There are many tactics (speed, blocking, dodging, timing, etc) and you learn to study your opponent. You learn to access your environment, and thus you become more perceptive of the world around you.

Ok, Suhail, I don't know if this is what your looking for, but I see that I've been going on and on, and wallah, I could go on some more, but I think I'll wrap it up now....( feel free to use excerpts here and there if this is too much)

Kick boxing has made me physically fit, toned my body, helped me move muscles I didn't know I had. It's not boring because the work out is always changing. You become fit without thinking about it, because you are busy concentrating on learning and memorizing new moves. It has given me a sense of belonging to something different/special, like I have skills and knowledge of something that not everyone has. And, most important, its fun. This is a result, of course, of the hard efforts of the instructor. The Sensai has a plan/mission of going somewhere with this, and the students can feel it. You can tell that this whole project is something close to Suhail's heart, and its not just money making/ time wasting thing, or whatever. Suhail is serious about what he is doing, he is fair, he is good at what he does, and he's just... a nice guy. He is friendly with his students, he gives the classes a friendly and humorous atmosphere, which is relaxing, but balances in the right amount of discipline and seriousness.

Hi there,

Well, I am finally connected again and thought I must send you all a short message just to say "hello".  It has been so hectic since we arrived back in SA, (it's unbelievable actually), when you're away from home, there is nothing to worry about, but as soon as you arrive back, everything turns upside down.  Nevertheless, I'm back on track, kids are back in school, still a bit confused thinking that we'll be going back to Bahrain, the fact is.....WE MISS BAHRAIN TERRIBLY!
The funniest thing happened to me tonight and I must say I expected it.  I found a kickboxing "club" (if you can call it that), this guy does the total opposite of what I have learned at Zen-Do, no technique, no basic's, no discipline, no belts, no nothing, I thought I was going to laugh.  And I wish you could have seen how he does a roundhouse kick!  Swings a straight leg from the back, full force straight, with trainers on, onto a young girl holding a defense bag against her side, this poor girl, whom has only been there for about 4 weeks, flew 10 steps back and nearly landed on her back side.  He teaches them full on power fighting, with knee and one kick on the side hip and "then" expects them to go into the ring which is on this Sunday at the Umfolozi Casino (I have to go just to witness the whole thing), can you believe it!  Anyway, I think it is going to take me a looooooong time before I find a club that will be as good as Zen-Do.  I miss all of you and my Kickboxing so much!  What South Africa needs is a Zen-Do!  If I had the experience and the knowledge I would have opened a Zen-Do, teach these people how to do proper kickboxing.  All of you's are very, very, fortunately to have such an remarkable Sensei, with so much knowledge and moral values, that is going to be so hard for me to find somebody to replace him.  Zen-Do taught Christopher and myself so much (shame, even Christopher was smiling at their movements), I will never forget what I have learned and hope that I will find the right place to carry on and who knows, maybe one day, I will see you's at the World Kickboxing Championships!

Keep well and stay in touch, my best wishes to everyone at Zen-Do.

Regards

I have taken up Zen-Do Kickboxing classes with Sensei Suhail Al Gosaibi since September 2003. Since then I have enjoyed every class. Suhail creates a wonderful ambience and each and every class has a different flavor to it. He teaches us the most common and effective techniques of martial arts kickboxing. So if you ever watch "Extreme Martial Arts" documentary on the Discovery Channel you recall all the kicks and punches that you have learnt. The beauty of it is that it is simple to learn and practice even at my age. It's straight forward but very effective at the same time. Your kicks, balance and flexibility improve more and more each time you attend. On Wednesday's we have sparring sessions and that is where we put our theory and techniques into practice.

I have frankly seen many martial arts classes such as Karate, Taekwondo, Hujomosole, Aikido and Jujitso and there is none that equates the level of cardio workout as Kickboxing. Not only that you have world class equipment and an amazing Dojo area that makes you fully relaxed. You will be attended by a friendly full time instructor that is fully dedicated for its members and a wonderful team of assistants. It's for all ages and for both sexes.
